Committed to Biblical Truth
We are committed to biblical truth and joyfully affirm historic, evangelical Christianity. We affirm the inerrancy of Scripture in all its parts. “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work” (2 Tim 3:16-17).
Dependent on God
We are totally dependent on God for the provision of all our needs. God gives power to the weak, “and to those who have no might He increases strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall, but those who wait on the Lord
Shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint” (Isaiah 40:29-31).
A People of Prayer
Prayer is foundational in our life and ministry. By prayer we seek God’s direction, request resources, and call upon the Holy Spirit to empower our ministries. “Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God” (Romans 8:26-27).
Church-Centered
We are committed to being a Mission that begins, nurtures, and equips churches to be the expression of Christ in their communities and to reach out with cross-cultural missionary vision and action. Moreover, we desire to be a transforming community dedicated to becoming like Christ in love, servanthood, holiness, and obedience to the Father. We believe that following Christ’s example means sacrifice, sometimes hardship, and perhaps even death. “The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together” (Romans 8:16-17).
Mission-Focused
We are committed to the urgent and unfinished task of making disciples of Jesus Christ in all nations (Mt 28:18-20). In doing this we desire to work in loving, trusting, interdependent relationships with churches and other partners who share our vision. “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come” (Matthew 24:14).
